Doon Girls is located in Dehra Dun Which is picturesquely situated with the mighty Himalayas to the North, the Shivaliks and Rajaji National Park to the south, the Ganga to the East and the Yamuna to the west. The city is situated 250 km. north of New Delhi and is easily accessible by road, rail, and air. The hill station of Mussoorie lies 35 km. to the North.

Doon Girls occupies the original site and buildings of Welham Girls' School. Welham Girls' consolidated its campus and this site was tastefully redesigned and purpose - designed to suit the needs and requirements of the little ones.
